Wires are soldered to the screening and signal contacts of the video connectors. These may be three "CINCH" (RTM) connectors or one "CINCH" and two "S-VHS" (RTM) connectors. The other ends of the wires are bent to position them in the same positions as the corresponding contact pins on a standard 21 pin connector, conforming to the 933-1 standard of the I.E.C.. The shell is practically identical to the 21 pin connector shell. The pins carry stereo audio signals (C1, C3) and the associated earth (C4) and luminance (C19) and chrominance signals and the associated earth (C17). |
