Support construction for hang glider or other airborne craft

The body of the diagonal struts (1,2) of the hang glider may consist of a tube or a U or T-construction. One or more diagonal struts are pivot-connected or rigidly connected to one or more joints (4), the connection being provided by one or more movable or fixed pins (5). On one or both ends of a diagonal strut a reinforcing element (7) is provided to absorb tensile and compressive forces. To absorb tensile loads one or more flexible or rigid tensioning elements (8,9) is provided.
