PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resist the self weight of a wound roll by a pressure air cushion even if wound rolls are formed on two winding floors so as to be separated from each other. SOLUTION: A pressure air cushion limited to wound rolls 7a and 7b is formed in at least one of the selectable wound rolls 7a and 7b on each winding floor. The pressure air cushion is limited by a longitudinal direction seal element 6' in parallel with supporting rollers 5, 9' and 9" and inserted into a gap provided between the supporting rollers 5, 9' and 9" and two end part seal elements 34 disposed in both end parts of the wound rolls 7a and 7b.
