Disclosed are a transparent electrode and a method for forming a transparent electrode. A method for forming a transparent electrode, according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, may form a transparent electrode having conducting filaments uniformly formed on the whole semiconductor substrate by forming variable resistance protrusions with a variable resistance material, which are spaced apart from each other at a predetermined interval and then performing a forming process on each variable resistance protrusion to form a conducting filament therein to change the resistance state from a high-resistance state to a low-resistance state. Accordingly, it is possible to uniformly inject a current into the whole semiconductor substrate while making good ohmic contact with the semiconductor substrate, thereby enhancing current spreading efficiency. |
