Roof hook, especially for attaching ladders or safety harnesses

The roof hook (1) has a retaining arm (2) which is designed to be fixed to a roof truss, and which has a curved hook (3) at its lower end. An eye (9) is arranged in the region of the latter, and is intended especially for a safety rope to be hooked into it. The eye is in the form of a stamped hole, and the curved hook is bent around its longitudinal axis, at least in the region of the hole. This bending may be towards the convex side of the hook, and may extend over 180 degrees of the curvature of the hook. The hook may also have a semicircular cross section, at least in the region of the hole.
