PURPOSE:To make a range finder to enable the focusing of plural visual fields with a small number of photodetector parts. CONSTITUTION:Light emitting devices a1 to a3 disposed so as to discriminate long and short range zones of objects theta1 to theta divided into five grades in accordance with light receiving positions of photodetectors D1 to D7, a light projecting lens LA, a light receiving lens LD and the photodetectors D1 to D7 are included in this range finder. Furthermore, the range finder is provided with amplifiers connected to ends of respective photodetectors D1 to D7 and a multiplexers inputting respectively detection signals from three amplifiers among the seven amplifiers and compensating the differences in the positions of the received light of the photodetectors D1 to D7 caused by that the focusing axis l1 to l3 is different regardless of the fact that the distance to an object is regarded as the same are provided. |
