Mobile telephone with head protection against electromagnetic radiation

The telephone has a screen located on the user's head facing side of the mobile telephone aerial, preventing the user's exposure to the electromagnetic radiation from the telephone aerial. Preferably the screen is firmly connected to the mobile telephone. Alternatively the screen can be removable. Typically the screen reflects the electromagnetic radiation, but may be of an absorbing type. The reflected, or absorbed radiation may be fed back into the telephone, thus enhancing the telephone performance.
