Spun-bond nonwoven web laying assembly

The assembly to lay a spun-bonded nonwoven web has a space dividing wall (9) fitted at the diffuser outlet (5) parallel to the laying belt (6). It forms a spaced gap zone (12) to the upper roller of the leading paired laying rollers (7). Preferably the spaced gap formed by the space dividing wall (9) can lead also to the upper roller (8) of the trailing pair of laying rollers. The wall (9) can be a solid sheet of metal plate or plastics, with a sealing system (13) at the rotating rollers (7, 8). The wall (9) can also be a perforated plate, with fed air or process air drawn by suction through the openings into the space gap zone (12). The wall (9) gives a gap of 15-50 mm between it and the laying belt (6), and preferably about 20 mm.
