The wall has an absorption layer (9) for solar radiation enclosed between an inner skin (6) and an outer skin (7) which is transparent to the solar radiation. The heat energy generated by the absorption of solar energy in the absorption layer is transmitted to the building interior via the inner skin and the interior wall surface (3). A heat storage radiator (2) is mounted at a given relative spacing from the interior wall surface to provide a convection space (11) through which the circulation rate of the room air is controlled via an adjustable flow regulator.
