The dryer consists of a housing with heater coils and blower and an attachment (104) with which moisture can be added to the heated air. The attachment consists of a small water container (105) and hose (106) through which the water can be sucked into the dryer. A small electric motor (108), which is mounted in the handgrip of the dryer, drives a piston pump (110) which generates an alternating pressure in the moisture supply channel. The water container incorporates a non-return valve. Water is sprayed from a jet into the hot air stream.
