The console has a file back part (10) and at least one bearer part (3), the cross-section of which is such that it can be inserted in a space within holder stirrups (H) in the file back part. When the console is in a usage position, where the bearer part is horizontal, the length of the bearer part enables the console to stably support a file suspended with the back part upwards. The bearer part comprises a U-shaped metal profile, which is provided at its free end with at least one inclinedly shaped guide tongue (4) for the files. On an upwardly turned side, the bearer part is provided with an upward, weakly arc-shaped, longitudinally sprung wear protection component (6). The bearer part has at least one recess (8) with a lock edge for interlocking with a component (11) in the file back part extending into the space. |
