This test installation is for water treatment equipment, esp. appts. alleged to prevent lime scale deposition in water supply equipment. Two test sections (1,2) of identical construction are supplied by a common connection (4) for test water. In the first is installed the appts. to be tested (3); the second serves as a control test section. In this novel arrangement, each test section has a distributor connected to heat exchange tubes (14) forming components of a common heat exchanger unit (15, 15a). Here the tubes, or the water flowing through them is heated.
