PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain information concerning electron spin state in a material by introducing polarized positron beam in a measuring object and obtaining production rate of orthopositronium where incident positron beam and electron in the material are in pair, and parapositronium. SOLUTION: A single color positron beam generator 10 is constituted including a proton cyclotron 11, an aluminum target 12, a moderator 13 and an electrostatic acceleration grid 14, and generates polarized low velocity positron beam. Positron beam emitted from the generator 10 is introduced to an acceleration part 40 by a positron transporter 30. The acceleration part 40 accelerates positron. The positron is shot in a sample held on a sample holder stage 51. A measuring part 50 obtains the production rates of orthopositronium where incident positron beam and electron in the material are in pair, and parapositronium. Thus, information on electron spin in the sample 60 can be obtained.
