PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display for suppressing noise light and an outside landscape from being colored. SOLUTION: The head-up display 1 is provided with a display 21 for emitting signal light 31, a hologram combiner 10 equipped with a hologram element 11, an angle selecting element 15 arranged on the out-car side of the hologram element 11 and for selectively reducing, or shielding the light made incident from a prescribed angle extent, and a wavelength selecting element which is arranged on the in-car side or the out-car side of the hologram element 11 and for selectively reducing, or transmitting only the light in a prescribed band. Such an angle extent that the light reflected by a boundary surface on the in-car side of the hologram combiner 10 becomes near the incident angle (±20 deg.) of the signal light 31 is regarded as the angle extent of the angle selecting element 15, and the wavelength selecting element (hologram element 14) has the property of reducing the band having almost the complimentary color relation with the selective wavelength band of the hologram element 11, or the property of transmitting the selective wavelength band of the hologram element with high transmissivity.
