PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly detect the presence of impurities in a material by cutting out a ceramic material just before to be fed to a soil kneading machine or immediately after extruded from the soil kneading machine, dissolving the material in water and passing the solution through a sieving net. SOLUTION: A sample is cut out from a ceramic material 5 just before to be fed to a soil kneading machine 4 or a ceramic material 5 immediately after extruded from the soil kneading machine 4 and thrown into a box-shaped body 8 of a cutter 7. A cylinder 10 is intermittently advanced, the ceramic material 5 is extruded from a gap between cutting blades 9, cut into a dice state by vertically moving a fibrous material 13 and dripped into the interior of a dissolving tank 6. Water is supplied from a water nozzle 15 and the ceramic material 5 is dissolved by rotating an agitating element 17 to give a slurry having about 90% water content. The slurry is discharged to a sieving net 21 having about 63-90μm sieve opening at about 10 minutes intervals to separate impurities. The impurities are dried and chemically analyzed and fed back to a production process.
