Manure in slurry form is mixed in with the earth during a simultaneous cultivating operation. A rotary harrow with dished discs (6) cuts up the ground surface and generates a swirling movement of the loosened soil, projecting it towards the discs (7) of a similar following harrow, which smooths the ground over again. Slurry (G) is delivered between the harrow discs and before the smoothing operation, and is mixed with the loose soil. Lengthwise beams (5) on a transverse one (4) can each have two or more discs one behind the other and on opposite sides of it, their axes of rotation being at an obtuse angle to the travel direction. A slurry outlet spout (11) is mounted between the discs.
