Precision micromoulding machine

A novel unit produces microstructures of multilayered plastic, e.g. covering layer on microstructured core, by two-component injection moulding. The mould (6) is a negative of the structure being formed. It is filled with fluid material and cooled. Its two identically-constructed positioning- and alignment units (3), i.e. adjusters (3) precisely-set the mould tool (4) forming the microstructures. These are jointly fixed to a first mould plate (1). Their relationship is such, that with 180 deg of plate (1) rotation about a central axis, the mould tools (4) exchange places. The first mould plate (1) seats against the second (2), and can be rotated relative to it. Nozzles (15) in the second plate opposes the first, and are used individually, for core and covering layers.
