The invention concerns a steering column switch for a motor vehicle comprising an indicator switch, the control lever (1) of which includes a rotating light switch (23) for activating the side lights and driving lights. To be able to use the rotating light switch (23) to turn the fog lights or the rear fog lights of a motor vehicle on or off, at least one fog light and/or rear fog light switching position (13) is allocated to the rotating light switch (23). To activate the rotating light switch (23) in the "fog light" or "rear fog light" (13) switching position, more force has to preferably be applied than when switching it into the "lights off" (10), "side light" (11) or "driving light" (12) positions.
