<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the number of an ON and OFF frequency of a pressure pump in an area where water supply is suspended or the water pressure is low, shorten the water purifying time, and prevent noise generation due to ON and OFF switching of the pressure pump and wear of the parts by sensing the pressure of source water and controlling the operation of the pressure pump based on the water pressure fluctuation. SOLUTION: The water level of a purified water tank is sensed by a water level sensing means 105, the water level data is sent to a controlling means 110, and in the case the water level in the purified water tank is judged to be water shortage level or lower, a water supply valve 57 is opened. At that time, the pressure of source water supplied to a water supplying pipe from a tap water faucet is sensed by a water pressure sensing means 115 and sent out to the controlling means 110 to judge whether the pressure of the source water is the normal water pressure or low water pressure or whether water supply is suspended or not. In the case that suspension of water supply is judged, the pressure pump 59 is stopped. Meanwhile, the pressure of source water is determined to be the normal pressure or low pressure, the pressure pump 59 is driven and the pressure of the source water is elevated to a prescribed pressure and the water is passed through a membrane, so that various kinds of heavy metals, carcinogenic substances, microbes such as bacteria contained in the source water can be removed.</p> |
