摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance sensitivity, image reproduction performance, printing ink repellence on a silicone rubber layer, and ink receptivity on line image parts by imagewise exposing a photosensitive material for a direct waterless lithographic printing plate to a specified visible light in a specified high illuminance. SOLUTION: The photosensitive material for the direct waterless lithographic printing plate has on a support a photosensitive layer containing a absorbent for 600-700nm visible light and a silicone rubber layer in this order, and it is imagewise exposed to a visible light of 600-700nm in an illuminance of >=5MW/m<2> and subjecting the photosensitive layer to abrasion to remove the photosensitive layer and the silicone rubber layer in exposed areas. The light absorbent added into the photosensitive layer absorbs the visible light of 600-700nm efficiently and converting it to heat and subjecting the photosensitive layer to abrasion to remove the photosensitive layer and at the same time to induce abrasion of the silicone rubber layer in response to heat converted, and to cause its melting, volatilization, or combustion, and/or to remove it by pressure caused by the abrasion of the photosensitive layer.
