PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a controlling accuracy for stabilizing a hot water temperature during re-feeding of hot water in consideration of a time constant in decreasing of the hot water temperature varying in complex manner in re-feeding of it in reference to a length of waiting time from a stopped state of hot water feeding combustion to a starting of re-feeding of hot water. SOLUTION: A decreasing time constant TD of hot water temperature through supplying of cold water at the time of re-feeding of hot water is calculated in advance as an experimental function data with a waiting time from a stopping of hot water feeding combustion being applied as variable. An auxiliary post-boiling timeαhaving a constant value over an entire section of a waiting time is given for every flow rate of re-feeding of hot water, and an allowable range is applied for each of the auxiliary post-boiling times. In the case that the re-feeding of hot water is carried out at a section where an experimental function data is set in an allowable range of the auxiliary post-boiling time a a gas raising amount during the re-feeding of hot water is corrected by applying the auxiliary post-boiling time constant and in turn in the case that re-feeding of hot water is carried out at a section where the experimental function data is out of the allowable range of the auxiliary post-boiling time, a fixed amount of gas near a requisite heating calorie needed for increasing a temperature of fed water to a set temperature is raised and supplied. With such a control of raising of this gas amount, a displacement of feed-forward gas supplying amount is reduced as indicated at (c).
