Effective pressure indicator of flow meter

Disclosed is an active pressure gage for a flowmeter, to be used especially for tubes of a large diameter, and comprised of a casing (1) adjoined to tubing. An element (8) which creates active pressure is built into the casing. Said element contains a slit-like furrow (9) of varying depth which passes through the generating line. At its deepest point, the furrow is connected to a fitting for tapping the maximum pressure. The rate of flow of the fluid is calculated in time units on the basis of the difference between the pressure values at the deepest point and at the point of the second fitting, which is located downstream of the fluid flow.
