Cleaning machine for cleaning algae from nylon fishing nets

The machine has a rotary drum (4) over which a net to be cleaned is stretched. The concave form of the damp net is altered to a convex shape over the drum as the net is cleaned. Rotation of the drum through three centrifugal drying stages causes cleaning of the net. The machine construction can be varied for each type of trawler and is movably inserted in the trawler. The drum can be electromotively or hydraulically driven.
