Image rotation optical system for CCD detector matrix

The optical system has focussing elements (21, 28) focussing an optical beam onto a right angle mirror (26). The mirror reflects optical beams onto an image detector array (27). The array is off the optical axis. Each right angle surface of the mirror is reflective and allows optical beams to be rotated around in a controlled manner, scanning different elements on the matrix array.
