The two coupling halves are coupled together and the torque transfer in the engaged state is through bolts (6) set in the fixed part (5) and radially displaceable through a sleeve (7) which is rotationally secured but axially movable on the shaft (1). The bolts adjoin counter faces (14) of the cams (4) in the rotatable coupling half through inclined faces (13) which are inclined against the radial plane of the shaft. A ring (8) on the axially displaceable sleeve has a conical and a cylindrical section on whose conical sleeve faces the radially displaceable bolts adjoin in the uncoupled state with a slight spring pressure whilst in the engaged state support the radial forces on the cylindrical part
