Motor vehicle seat belt assembly with belt reel

The seat belt anchor comprises a reel (1) and coachwork inside cladding in two parts (2,3) whose upper part is bulged inwards (2a) to project into the vehicle ahead of the lower cladding part (3). The reel (1) is arranged between the top and bottom cladding part. The bulged section (2a) is holed to admit the reel-fitted pawl (1a) thus notching into the bulged part hole. The reel assembly is mounted between inner and outer cladding parts (2 and 5). Additional details include the bottom inner cladding part (3) with holed section (3a) for fixer screw so that once the pawl has engaged, the two holed sections (1b,3a) can be lined up to admit the fixer screw for reel. The belt (6) itself is led through between main and bottom cladding parts (4,3) to its anchorage above.
