PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve positioning precision in an axial direction when the photosensitive drum of a process cartridge operates. SOLUTION: A cartridge frame 13 is fitted to the guiding members 16L and 16R of a device main body, to be freely movable in the left and right directions in the figure and the photosensitive drum 7 is attached to the cartridge frame 13, to be freely movable in the axial direction. The polygonal helical hole of the top end of the recessed shaft 39b of the device main body is fitted to the helical polygonal prism of the top end of a drum shaft 37, so that the bottom surface 39a1 of the hole comes into contact with the end surface 37a1 of the polygonal prism, at the time of executing rotation, to precisely set the position in the axial direction of the photosensitive drum. |
