PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily process a copy protect key by scramblingly recording an SID code of a disk or the ISRC code. SOLUTION: The disk 11 is driven by a disk driving part 12 to successively read out control data of a read-in part and program source data. After these data are subjected to EFM demodulation in a demodulation circuit 13, data packed in a DVD encoding circuit of an encoder are unpacked by a format decoding part 14A, and next, the control data of the read-in part encoded and scrambled by a copyright coding circuit of the encoder are descrambled by a descrambling part 14B. Then, the decision is made whether the disk 11 is a pirate disk or not, by collating the SID code in the control data with the SID code from a reference data supply part 19 by a key collating circuit 18. When there is no record of a copy preventing code in the control data at the time of normal SID code, the program source is outputted from a D/A converter 15 and a terminal 16 for reproduction. |
