PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the operating performance, lower the material cost, and reduce the size by forming a plurality of magnet installation holes at equal intervals in a steel plate of a rotor iron core with their longitudinal direction being parallel with the chords of the circumferential circle of the rotor iron core and then inserting block magents in the magnet installation holes. SOLUTION: Rectangular magnet installation holes 11 are so formed by punching in a steel plate of a rotor iron core 2 that a peripheral magnetic path section may be remained in the periphery of the steel plate. The installation holes 11 are located at equal intervals with their longitudinal direction being parallel with the chords of the circumferetnail circle of the rotor iron core 2. Then, block magnets 10 are inserted into the magnet installation holes 11. The block magnets 10 should be just inserted into the installation holes 11 punched in the steel plate of the rotor iron core 2. Even if an adhesive is used, such adhesion would be enough that the block magnets 10 may not slip in the axis direction. Furthermore, there is no necessity of considering centrifugal force. |
