PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate under-run errors by providing a switch sensor processing part for recording the informing of a paper end and a printing activation control part for activating printing to an engine controller in a data processing controller. SOLUTION: The data processing controller 200 is constituted of a host interface processing part 201, a reception buffer 202, an editing processing part 203, the printing activation control part 205, a hardware timer 208, a print buffer 206, a rotation processing part 207, a raster buffer RAM 209 and the switch sensor processing part 210. The switch sensor processing part 210 records that the paper end is informed and the printing activation control part 205 receives data for more than one byte from a host device 400 and then activates printing to the engine controller 300 in the case of printing after releasing the paper end. In such a manner, even when the recognition of paper end release is delayed in the host device 400, printing is activated after receiving printing data whose transmission is restarted for more than one byte. |
