A car headlamp has a reflector (1) and a bulb (5) with a seat (6). The items to fasten the bulb to the reflector comprise a cylindrical bush (2) into which the bulb seat is pushed and which has an end-stop (3) to establish a certain axial assembly position of the seat, an item (4) to prevent rotation that works with a second item (7) on the seat, and finally a detachable bulb holder fastened to the bush. The lamp holder secures the seat against axial movement out of the assembly position. The bush is a one-piece item with the reflector. The first item mentioned above extends the whole length of the bush. There is a coupling component engaging around the outside of the bush that can only be fastened when the seat is correctly installed in the bush.
