The invention relates to a method for collecting a number of different products listed in an order in a product collecting system, comprising the following steps: allocating a product listed in an order to the order if said product is already available in the module, allocating a product to the order if said product of the “slow-moving” type is not already available in the module whereas it is available in another module, and moving said product from said other module to the module, and unloading a product carrier carrying a product at least in part if such a type of product is not already available in the module nor in another module, in which case the product is allocated to the order and moved to the module, and releasing the order and loading the products onto a collecting carrier when all the products listed in the order have been collected in the module. |
