Window frame with blind incorporated in hollow lateral glazing beads

The window frame (1) comprises rabbets for a window which is held there by vertical lateral and horizontal transverse laths in the upper and lower parts of the frame. The lateral laths (8,9) are hollow to provide a housing for the edges of a blind (16) in front of the window. The blind can be moved between a withdrawn position, in which it is held near the frame upper horizontal side (3) and an unfurled position in which it entirely covers the window. The edges of the blind are engaged between the window (7) and the branch of the L sectioned lath parallel to the window. The blind is fixed by its lower edge to an operating bar with an associated guide cord (20-21). The blind is fixed to an upper support (15) and the cord is fixed to a lower part.
