FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: cleaner has cylindrical body, whirling apparatus, cleaned gas arrangement, and contaminant outlet. Whirling apparatus is made as tangential slit channels. Total area of channels F<SB>ch</SB> and diametric section of body F<SB>b</SB> satisfy relation F<SB>ch</SB>/F<SB>b</SB> = 0.4-1.5. Cleaned gas arrangement is manufactured as tube with holes total area F<SB>t</SB> which relative to area F<SB>ch</SB> of whirling apparatus slit channels is within range of F<SB>t</SB>/F<SB>ch</SB> = 2.5-3.5.
