The cover has a vertical sleeve (1) which is extended by parts (3,4) which cover the front of the boot. The sleeve has a vertical back opening (2) which is closed by a slide clasp fastener or hooked pile fasteners and its lower part, round the heel, is open. The bottom edge of the sleeve is semi-circular and is tightened by elastic (5). A flat part (4), made of strong fabric, covers the sole and has elastic (6) along its back edge which can pass over the top of the foot. The upper front part (3) is made of supple watertight material.
