PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polypropylene resin composition for a foamed body excellent in extrusion formability and powder formability, and suitable for producing a polypropylene resin foamed sheet free from crosslinking and having homogeneous dense isolated cells. SOLUTION: This polypropylene resin composition for a foamed body is obtained by compounding (1) a polypropylene resin with (2) 20-70wt.% at least one elastomer selected from hydrogenated styrene-butadiene rubber, hydrogenated styrene-butadiene-crystalline ethylene block copolymer and hydrogenated styrene-vinylisoprene-styrene block copolymer and (3) 0.5-7.0wt.% a foaming agent having a decomposition temperature of >=150 deg.C.
