Braking device for industrial vehicle

The braking device for an industrial vehicle comprises a brake control part, a disc having several holes (5) passing through it concentric to the rotational axis. Several locking pins (6) which can be moved rearwards and frontward relative to the disc are inserted in the holes. When the operator activates the brake control several locking pins are simultaneously moved frontward relative to the disc by means of a locking mechanism. Any one of the locking pins is thus inserted in any one of the holes. The braking device provides efficient braking of the vehicle as a function of the unlocking operation of a seat bar.
