Disclosed are a terminal network searching method and a terminal. According to the present invention, at least two sets of general communication module configuration files are stored in the terminal, each set of communication module configuration file corresponds to a type of a subscriber identity module, and each set of communication module configuration file comprises configuration parameters of multiple network types; the corresponding set of communication module configuration file is loaded according to the type of the subscriber identity module inserted into the terminal, such that multiple networks can be searched, a communication module needs not to be frequently reset since the subscriber identity module is replaced, and a situation of failure in use of the terminal due to load failure caused by frequently switching and loading the communication module configuration files is avoided; and the configuration files are loaded without being based on operators, such that a real all-network universality of the terminal is simply and conveniently realized. |
