PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit specific information to a vehicle that enters an arbitrarily set range by providing a map-plotting means for displaying a desired map based on map data, a region-setting means for setting a specific region on the map, a means for judging the entry of the vehicle, and a means for displaying the vehicle position. SOLUTION: A PC navigator 10 has, for example, a CD-ROM 11 for storing map data, a display device 12, and a map plotting means 13, and the map- plotting means 13 is provided as one function of a CPU 20. A vehicle-mounted navigator 30 has, for example, a CD-ROM 31 for storing various kinds of data such as map data, a display device 32, and a map-plotting means in a CPU 37. When it is judged that a vehicle enters a set region, the judgment result is transmitted to the side of the vehicle-mounted navigator 30 via a telephone line 22. The CPU 37 of the vehicle-mounted navigator 30 receiving the judgment result via an external communication device 40 and a data-communicating means 36 displays information on the entry of the vehicle and its related information on the map of the display device 32 and gives an alarm. |
