CONCRETE, PRODUCTION AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a colored concrete solving problems related to work environment and capable of being automatically produced, by blending a granular pigment mainly comprising iron oxide together with cement and aggregate. SOLUTION: This concrete is constituted by blending a pigment mainly comprising iron oxide and having preferably 0.05-5.0 mm, more preferably 0.1-0.8 mm, especially 0.2-0.4 mm diameter together with cement and aggregate such as sand or ballast. The objective colored concrete can be produced in an improved work environment without inducing a bridging phenomenon of the pigment in the apparatus by charging the granular pigment from a tank lorry for conveying the pigment into a surge bin 26 by a pneumatic pump through an air compression pipe and in the true use of the concrete, directly charging the pigment from the surge bin 26 into a collecting hopper 14 at an upper part of a mixer 10 by a screw conveyor 27.
