The fencing has arched border sections (1) with a base (2) at each end. It has attachments (5) for joining two adjacent sections which are positioned at half the horizontal distance from the axis of symmetry from the arch and the base. Further attachments are positioned on the base. The fencing is held in the ground by stakes (11) which fit over tenons (13) on the bases. The bases may have half tenons which pass through drilled holes in supports for the bases. The half tenons of adjacent border sections are joined together to form the tenon for the stakes. There are end sections (58) which can be joined to the border sections forming half an arc (58) and ending with a post (54).
