Sealing process for cavity between annular wall and tube end part

The sealing process seals the cavity between the annular wall (30) of an aperture (32) and a tube end part (38) inserted in the cavity by means of an elastic rubber sealing sleeve fitted between the aperture wall and the tube end surface. One sleeve surface is basically smooth. The other has a bulge round it. If the tube end is smooth, the sleeve is turned inwards to engage it with the tube end part. If the tube end is not smooth, it is connected to the annular wall.
