PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely generate a synthesis signal synthesized in phase from two received signals in the case of receiving the two reception signals subjected to biphase modulation through diversity. SOLUTION: Relating to the receiver, received signals Sr1, Sr2 subjected to biphase modulation are given respectively to a phase locked loop consisting of a mixer 1a, a voltage controlled oscillator 2a, a loop filter 3a and a phase detector 4 and phase locked loop consisting of a mixer 1b, a voltage controlled oscillator 2b, a loop filter 3b and the phase detector 4, where intermediate frequency signals S'r1, S'r2 frequency-converted are obtained and the signals S'r1, S'r2 are synthesized by a synthesizer 5, which produces a synthesis signal S0 and a signal resulting from inverting a phase of the intermediate frequency signal S'r2 by a phase angle ofπat aπphase shifter and the intermediate frequency signal S'r1 are synthesized at a synthesizer 5', from which a synthesis signal S'0 is generated. Then a changeover device 9 provides an output of either of the synthesis signals S0 , S'0 depending on the level of them.
