The system has a housing with a front opening (14) with a front wall (16), base plate (30) and auxiliary plate (32). The auxiliary plate has connection areas for connecting at least one measurement value acquisition and/or signal generating element and is positioned perpendicularly to the base plate with the connection elements between the base plate and front wall. The auxiliary plate (32) is made in one piece with the base plate (30) with at least one connecting bridge (40) between them able to twist so that the auxiliary plate can be pivoted between a first position, in which it lies in the same plane as the base plat, and a second position, in which it is perpendicular to the base plate.
