<p>A structure for connecting blocks of a band comprising; a basic block formed by bending a metal plate and comprising a plurality of annular portions (13, 14, 15) and a connecting portion (11) for connecting the annular portions; annular connecting blocks (3) having clearances through which the connecting portion is allowed to pass and connected to the connecting portion; and a connecting member (4) having a base portion (41), connecting arms (43) and free end portions, and adapted to be inserted between the basic block and connecting blocks, displace the connecting blocks in the lengthwise direction of the band by the connecting arms, and retained in the basic block owing to the engagement of stopper recess and projections (17, 42), the outer surfaces of the free end portions being exposed to the outside of an opening of an annular portion of an end section of the basic block so that a tool (5) can be inserted thereinto.</p> |
