FIELD: industrial inorganic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: in order to produce pseudoboehmite-structure aluminum hydroxide, aqueous aluminate solution with Na<SB>2</SB>O/Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB> molar ratio 0.5 to 2.0 and aluminum oxide concentration 1 to 50 wt % is decomposed at 0 to 30 C and molar ratio of sodium aluminate (on conversion to Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>) to hydrogen peroxide from 0.02 to 0.15. Aluminum hydroxide formed with pseudoboehmite structure is isolated and washed with distilled water at 0 to 30 C until pH 7-8 is attained. EFFECT: improved procedure. 3 ex |
