PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain raw paper for release paper in which unevenness of coated face of releasing agent is slight and unevenness of laminated surface base material is slight. SOLUTION: Raw paper for release paper made by using pulp in which whole pulp satisfies the following equations 1 and 2 [Pn=Rn(Rn-rn)/rn; W is an integer of >=100; Pn is a value in (n) number when Pn value of W pulp fibers randomly extracted from whole pulp is arranged from 1 in smaller order; Rn is a fiber diameter of fiber in (n) number and unit thereof itμm; (rn) is lumen diameter of fiber in (n) number and unit thereof isμm; (x) is (n) when Pn exceeds 20 for the first time].
