FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: weight gauge has measuring element made in the form of rod with strain gauges positioned on it. Rod bends under action of weight being measured. Rod is positioned in frame. One end of rod is secured on frame, while the other, is free relative to frame and is provided with bearing surface intended for action of force on it directed in opposition to action of reaction force applied to other bearing surface of frame. Gauge is made in one piece as flat plate. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of balance due to independence of gauges from each other. 16 cl, 6 dwg
