PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance work efficiency and reliability when an irreversible process to an onboard electronic control apparatus is executed. SOLUTION: A process requirement part 81 of a CPU 31 of a vehicle- diagnosing apparatus 30 outputs a process requirement to an electronic control apparatus 10. A response detection judgement part 83 judges whether a response from the electronic control apparatus 10 is normally received, whether or not the response is affirmative. A process requirement step-switching part 84 switches on a next process step when one step of the process requirement is processed. A detection judgement part 62 of the electronic control apparatus judges whether or not the process requirement is executable and responds through a process response part 61 to the vehicle-diagnosing apparatus 30. A reception permission-switching part 63 permits reception for a next process requirement when one process requirement step is processed. When a response abnormality or the response that the process is impossible is present, it is handled accordingly and displayed. On the other hand, a requirement is transmitted again only when the affirmative response that the process is possible is obtained. The process can be surely carried out in this manner. |
