PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a route guidance apparatus in which a user himself recognizes an uncorresponding breach point out of a turn list, in which an operation to refer branch points other than it is not required and in which a branch point regarding a running route after that in an arbitrary point of time is referred. SOLUTION: In an apparatus, a street D1 which is run at present and a distance D2 up to a next branch are displayed, and data on 'a next branch' as a branch point closest to a present position on a route and data on 'a branch after a next branch' after it are displayed. The data on the branch point contains directions D3, D6 in which the route is turned, street names D4, D7 and street running distances D5, D8. Then, when the present position is moved, it is updated and displayed, and data on two branch points after a point which is run at present is always displayed. That is tosat, it is possible to refer only a guide branch poing regarding a later running route, and the convenience of a route guidance apparatus is enhanced. |
